The Cancer Mosaic - Help Piece Together A Cure

2010 Fund Raising Events:

May 8, 2010 Postponed!

Sooooooo sorry for the delay...
Long story short - I just had too many irons in the fire this Spring to get this planned without doing a really hack job at it. Thanks for all the interest, the event will either be back this Fall (late Summer - perhaps as as the Dehydration Dervish Derby...) or more likely in 2011

What is it?
To raise money for the Lance Armstrong Foundation and the LiveStrong Challenge we have piggy backed off the 100 Miles of Nowhere and propose to ride 100 miles at The Superdrome. We'll be riding 644 laps of the 250m velodrome in Frisco, TX. Whether you think of it as 100 miles, 644 laps or 2,576 left turns it is all for the same purpose:

Raise awareness, Raise money,
Fight Cancer.

There will be other rides (literally) around the world to raise money and awareness on the 8th of May. Members of the group Cyclists Combating Cancer are organizing their own rides around the globe to support the LAF's efforts to take the LIVESTRONG message Global!

Superdrome Century 2009 - The NBC 5 Live Coverage:
A huge thanks to Brett Johnson and the crew from NBC 5 who came out and not only interviewed me for the 9:00 AM news, but they also did a 2 minute segment live from the event at 9:30.
