What is was it?
(We're already planning for 2010!!)
To raise money for the Lance Armstrong Foundation and the LiveStrong Challenge we have piggy backed off the 100 Miles of Nowhere and propose to ride 100 miles at The Superdrome. We'll be riding 644 laps of the 250m velodrome in Frisco, TX. Whether you think of it as 100 miles, 644 laps or 2,576 left turns it is all for the same purpose:
Raise awareness, Raise money,
Fight Cancer.
There will be other rides (literally) around the world to raise money and awareness on the 30th of May. Members of the group Cyclists Combating Cancer are organizing their own rides around the globe to support the LAF's efforts to take the LIVESTRONG message Global!
Tee Shirts Available!!
Another way to show your support - wear the event tee shirt the day of (or numerous days thereafter) and show your support not only for the folks looking to lap the superdrome 644 times - but for the LAF and for cancer survivors everywhere.
Tee shirts will be $20 each, pre-order for batch two is underway! All profits from shirt sales (roughly $13/shirt) go to the LAF!

100% pigment dyed cotton - charcoal in color, the 644 on the back will be subtle, and dare I say - very cool looking... Similar to a track racing number placed on the hip... Front has the event logo, the back will have the sponsor logos (they got you the swag) and the 644 goal for laps around the 'drome...
